Licking Behavior Cat

Information About Licking Behavior Cat
Have you ever wondered why cats lick themselves? Cats are very clean creatures and this is how they bathe themselves. By licking their fur, they remove foreign substances as well as loose fur.

If your cat licks excessively, removing patches of fur, consult a veterinarian to find out if there is a reason your cat is doing this. Rule out any health issues immediately.

Why does your cat lick you? Cats bathe each other, and sometimes you, as a friendly gesture. They also may lick you if you have a substance on you that they think needs to be cleaned, like lotion on your hands. If the substance is something the cat should not be ingesting, do not let them continue to lick you.
